Indy Xcel Volleyball Club was established so that players in and around the Franklin, Indiana area could learn the fundamental skills of volleyball while making new friends and developing a passion for the sport. Players will practice in an environment that is both positive and encouraging. Each skill will be broken down into its basic elements and each player will receive individualized instruction.
The performance teams will focus on learning the fundamentals of each skill but will also incorporate the dynamics of team play. Performance teams will participate in a minimum number of tournaments (3-5) in the greater Indianapolis area. The season will begin the first week of January and conclude with a tournament the end of April. Performance teams practice twice a week; one week night and on Sunday afternoons. Practices are usually held at Franklin Community High School, Franklin Middle School or Custer Baker Intermediate School.
The Spring Camp includes 1st through 4th grade girls and boys. The primary focus is on repetition and precision of the elemental skills. Practices will be held on Sunday afternoons at Franklin Community Middle School.
